Purpose and legal basis of processing
Users’ personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- Performance of the sales contract and related obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Compliance with tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
- Direct marketing activities, only with explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
- Protection of the Controller’s rights (legitimate interest – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Categories of data processed
- Identification data (name, surname, address)
- Contact data (telephone number, email address)
- Payment data (not stored directly, but managed by third parties such as PayPal, Stripe or banking institutions)
Recipients and data transfer
Personal data may be disclosed to:
- IT and logistics service providers
- Tax, legal and administrative consultants
- Competent authorities, where required by law
Transfer of data outside the European Union is not envisaged, except where services are used (such as PayPal) that operate under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognised by the GDPR.
Data retention period
Data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to perform the contract and to comply with legal obligations (in particular, 10 years for tax and accounting purposes).
Data subject rights
Users may exercise at any time the rights provided for by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by writing to: privacy@opplatinumshop.it.
